Premier League clash between Luton Town and Burnley moved to Friday 12th January
The Premier League match between Burnley and Luton Town, originally scheduled for Monday 15 January, has been brought forward to Friday 12 January. The reason? The Hatters drew 0-0 in the FA Cup Third Round, so they will have to play one more game to decide who goes through to the Round of 32 and will do so on the 16th, which is why it has been rescheduled.

Matchday 21 of the Premier League kicks off on Friday with Burnley-Luton Town. However, this fixture was not scheduled to kick off the fixture list.
Burnley-Luton Town was due to be played on Monday 15th January, but the hatters' 0-0 draw against Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup forced the Premier League to change their schedule.
Finally, it was decided that the clash between Burnley and Luton Town will be played on the 12th at 20.45 CET, three days earlier than planned.
"Due to needing an Emirates FA Cup third round replay, our Premier League fixture at Burnley has been moved to Friday 12th January at 7:45pm (originally Monday 15th January)," Luton Town said on social media.
Immediately after that domestic fixture, on 16th January, Rob Edwards' side will have that final battle against Bolton Wanderers in the FA Cup third round.
Both clashes are important for the Hatters, perhaps more so in the Premier League, as the team is 18th with 15 points and is fighting for relegation with direct rivals Burnley, 19th with 11 points.
