Re-elected head of the European Club Association (ECA) on Thursday in Berlin, Nasser Al-Khelaifi took the opportunity to talk about the Super League and Saudi Arabia's influence on football today.
In comments reported by 'AS', the PSG president mocked Real Madrid and Barcelona, the main supporters of the Super League:
"I call it the 'No Super League'. Nobody wants to be in it. We don't care what they do. They're out there. There used to be three teams, now there are two... (Juventus are no longer in the project unlike Real Madrid and Barca)."
The PSG chief also said that he was not worried about the rise of Saudi Arabia: "I don't think there is any danger. We are focusing on Europe and our clubs. We have the best and most important competitions and the best players. It's not for me to judge what's happening outside Europe. We're focusing on ourselves.
