PSG goalkeeper Sergio Rico to undergo surgery

Sergio Rico, who suffered a serious accident with a horse at the end of May, is due to undergo further surgery for an aneurysm, according to the 'Mucho Deporte' newspaper. The surgery will take place next week.
According to the same source, doctors at the Virgen del Rocio hospital in Seville have informed the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper and his family that a further operation is necessary.
The Spaniard left intensive care at the beginning of July and is making a positive recovery. The former Sevilla man posted a short message on his social media two weeks ago, responding to and thanking fans for their kind words of support after the accident he suffered.
"I wanted to thank each and every one of the people who have shown and sent me their love during these complicated days", the goalkeeper wrote.
