Kylian MbappE's departure from PSG at the end of the season is creating a minor crisis in the Parisian project. Two seasons ago they started with Mbappé, Messi and Neymar and now they have to build a team without them. In Paris they know this and are working to avoid losing credibility. The first targets of the French club are being reported.

Although Kylian Mbappe's departure could have been foreseen, the Frenchman's confirmation to PSG that he would not be staying in Paris has precipitated events. The French club know that the loss of the team's flagship player would be a major blow to the project. That is why they are already working on a small reconstruction without their star player. 'L'Equipe' has several names that the club have on their radar.
Naturally, Paris Saint-Germain will need more firepower up front if Kylian Mbappe leaves. Ousmane Dembele has been a great addition to the squad, but the Frenchman's inconsistency means that he should not be considered for all the months of competition. Barcola, Kolo Mouani and Goncalo Ramos, among others, are already in the squad. But PSG know that they need a higher level to continue competing in Europe. Even to go one step further.
Fabrizio Romano, in his case, assures us that the club are clear that they have three positions to reinforce in the next transfer window: a top striker, a midfielder and a centre-back. It is 'L'Equipe' who also follows the roadmap set out by the journalist. They even reveal some of the names that the French side have on the list.
For the attack, the priority would be Victor Osimhen. With problems during the last few months at Napoli and far from the confidence he gave the Italian side last season, becoming a key player in Paris could be a viable option. He has a contract until 2026, but PSG would have the financial resources to take on the operation. The Nigerian is also being mentioned by 'The Athletic'. PSG are not forgetting Mohamed Salah, who finishes his contract with Liverpol in 2025, although perhaps more complicated to complement Dembele. Rafael Leao is also among the options.
For the midfield, the main favourite is Joshua Kimmich, who has not yet renewed his contract with Bayern Munich and is out of contract in 2025. Newcastle's Bruno Guimaraes is also on the shortlist, although the price tag would be higher. In defence, the great revelation of French football: Lille centre-back Leny Yoro (18 years old). He has one year left on his contract, although he is also targeted by Real Madrid.
