Kylian Mbappe's departure from PSG has forced Luis Enrique's side to bolster their attacking squad for next season. According to 'Le Parisien', the French side are interested in signing FC Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, whose contract with Barça expires in 2026.
The 16-year-old is one of the few good news for the 'Cules' so far this season. He has become an undisputed starter this term and is the most important player Xavi Hernandez has at his disposal. Yamal has played 44 games in which he has scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists.
Yamal's agent, Jorge Mendes, will play an important role in the possible deal. The Portuguese is the agent of several Parisian players: Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Barcola, Asensio, Ugarte and GonCalo Ramos, so he has a good relationship with the club from the French capital.
'Marca' has already mentioned that PSG are considering a bid of 200 million euros. On the other hand, BarCa officials claim that Lamine is worth 1,000 million, as that is the termination clause in his contract.
It seems that the 'Cules' are not going to get rid of PSG so easily after suffering elimination in the Champions League quarter-finals against the French side. The Parisians are back on the attack, this time, with the aim of depriving FC Barcelona of the most promising player in the squad.
