PSG to offer Messi new contract

Despite Leo Messi being with the Argentina national side, PSG are to try and get him to sign his contract extension when he gets back from the World Cup. The Argentinian will be free to negotiate with whoever in the next 30 days, and in France they fear he may leave.
According to 'GOAL', the offer that they will put on the table will be a 1+1. The French side's intention, together with the whole country's support, is for him and Mbappe to be the face of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. After all the rumours about a possible exit, PSG are looking for the number 10 to stay for at least another season.
What the Argentine would earn would be similar to the contract he signed in 2021 when he was a free agent from Barca. What is more, Christophe Galtier's side want to keep him at all costs, as thanks to him, they recorded their best profits for a solo year and sponsors are always looking for the seven-time Balon d'Or winner.
Barcelona will fight to convince Messi to return to the Catalan city, but their financial situation could be the downfall for the move. However it will be the footballer who has the final say, as his children are said to not have managed to fully adapt to their new lives in Paris.
