On Saturday, the Parc des Princes will say a whole host of goodbyes. Alongisde the departure of Lionel Messi, confirmed by coach Christophe Galtier, now we see Sergio Ramos bow out, as he has also made the decision to leave the club.
But that's not all, according to 'L'Equipe'. The outlet reported on Friday that the French club's board is also looking for a change of manager ahead of next season and will fire Galtier after the game against Clermont.
Despite the fact that he's under contract until 2024, Galtier will be another victim of the overhauls facing the squad and will be dismissed without further discussion. The emir of Qatar himself, the club's owner, was the one to deliver the news.
The coach rubbed the board the wrong way several times over the course of the season, to the extent that even securing the club's 11th Ligue 1 title couldn't save the Frenchman. The club is decided and will remove the coach from his post.
After this, the Parisian side will have to go about looking for a new coach for next season. Here, Zinedine Zidane once again looks to be the favourite to take the reins at a club that is about to undergo some big changes.
The former Real Madrid player has been out of work for a few months now and on more than one occasion has flirted with PSG management. It remains to be seen if this time they'll finally convince him to take the lead at the head of the French champions.
