PSG captain Marquinhos was “moved” by his team's qualification for the Champions League final, but pointed out that “it's not over” with Inter already in his mind.
“It's a great emotion, we have done a great job,” the Brazilian defender told the ‘Movistar+’ microphone. “The road has been very hard, slow, we have had very difficult matches,” he recalled of the passage of the current season.
“Now we have to enjoy this and prepare for the remaining match in the best way. The road to the final is complete, but it's not over,” he said. “The experience, the scars make you grow,” assured the captain, who said he has talked a lot with the younger members of the team to "transmit this mentality, this DNA’ to them".
“We work step by step. We started this competition with the ambition to go far. We are in the final. I've already lost one and I know how much it hurts. I'm going to try to pass on this experience to my teammates,” he added.
