Pulisic leads USA's preliminary list ahead of Copa America

Christian Pulisic tops the 27-man squad that coach Gregg Berhalter has drawn up for the Copa America friendlies. The coach has until 15 June to announce the final squad.

The United States national team already have its sights set on the Copa America. The national team wants to take advantage of CONMEBOL's invitation to win the trophy, although before that they will have to play two friendly warm-up matches against Colombia and Brazil.
Coach Gregg Berhalter has already announced 27 names, although this is not the final list. It should be noted that this is a pre-list from which one player will have to be removed, as the governing body of South American football has set the final call-up list at 26 players. However, the coach himself can make changes to some players and has until 15 June to do so.
Christian Pulisic is the leader of this team and will be accompanied by Luca de la Torre, Folarin Balogun, Haji Wright and Johnny Cardoso, among others. The United States will make their Copa America debut against Bolivia on 23 June.
Berhalter wants to test the level of his players in the two preparatory friendlies. The first will be against Colombia on 7 June, while the match against Brazil will take place on 11 June.
