Liverpool drew 1-1 with Manchester City in their last Premier League meeting and both teams handed the lead to Arsenal, who are currently top of the table.
The Reds, who are currently plagued by injuries, needed to make use of their younger and inexperienced players for this crucial encounter in the title race.
Jarell Quansah, who battled for 90 minutes to defend the Liverpool box, was one of Jurgen Klopp's chosen players to take on the challenge. The 21-year-old is already showing Anfield his potential and talent.
"Obviously it's tough to play in a game like that, but for me personally I think to have the opportunity and to be able to learn against the best players in the world at this stage of my career is valuable," Quansah told 'Liverpoolfc.com'.
"It was a tough game. I think both sides wanted to win the game and really attack the game. We were playing against world-class players and some of the best players in the Premier League, so we'll look at the game and think we should have nicked it at the end, but I think they will say the same thing as well," he continued.
"We know if we stick to what we know and try to win every game, we will be in a good place and that's all we've got to do really. We have] got to win as many games as we can and see where it takes us," the Englishman concluded.
