Sergio Ramos, who was targeted by several Saudi Arabian clubs in the summer transfer window, took a dig at his former Real Madrid teammates for moving to Saudi Arabia "for money".

Sergio Ramos has joined Sevilla as a free agent after 18 years without returning to his hometown. His transfer has been emotional as the Spaniard has turned down several big-money moves to play in Sevilla colours.
Jose Luis Mendilibar's side will only pay him one million euros per season while Al Ittihad offered him 22 million euros. Ramos was not interested in the money and made that clear in his first words after arriving in Seville.
The centre-back has already given his first interview for the La Liga side and explained his reasons for returning to his first team. The 37-year-old took a dig at former Real Madrid teammates Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, who both currently play in the Saudi league.
"I had the opportunity to continue in Paris for two years, but I didn't see it. I have always been moved by impulses and heart. Not by money. That's why I didn't go to Arabia or the MLS," he said.
"That's why I risked the call until the minute 93 to sign for Sevilla. Sometimes everything happens for a reason and I believe in energy. For me it was a dream to return here."
