Marcus Rashford is not having a good season with Manchester United, and that's because aside from his form and not scoring the amount of goals he did last year, the striker is making headlines for non-football related issues.
Erik ten Hag confirmed on Friday that the England striker was unable to train ahead of the FA Cup fourth round first leg against Newport because he was ill.
“This morning, Rashford was ill and Evans was ill so we have to see how they recover,” said the Manchester United boss.
According to 'The Athletic', Rashford attended a nightclub in Belfast called Thompsons Garage on Thursday night. The player returned on a private flight the following morning but was not in condition to train.
Subsequently, video footage emerged of the 26-year-old's night out, although Manchester United claimed the footage was from Wednesday night, a day before the team had scheduled the players off.
Even so, there are sources who confirm to this media that the images were taken on Thursday night but both club and player have declined to speak or make any statement on the subject.
