Rashford set to sign five-year United contract
Marcus Rashford looks ready to commit himself to Manchester United, as reports say he is close to signing a five-year contract with his boyhood club, which could also see him become one of the Premier League's highest earners. He would have been a free agent next summer, but United would have been desperate to hang on to their top goalscoring talent.

It looks like some certainty is finally headed Man United's way. The Red Devils are about to lock down one of their biggest stars, Marcus Rashford, with a deal that keeps him at Old Trafford until 2028.
'The Athletic' reports that talks had been ongoing for while, as his current deal expires in June 2024. The England forward has been one of the heroes of Erik ten Hag's side, scoring 30 goals last season.
The same outlet reports that the 25-year-old turned down lucrative offers from other teams in England and Europe, as he wants to win trophies with the club he joined aged 7 and has since made 359 senior appearances for.
According to 'Daily Mail', the deal would also feature a considerable pay raise, reaching £375,000-a-week, compared to his current £250,000-per-week. The paper claims that this would make him the fourth highest earner in the Premier League, behind only Man City's Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, and Liverpool's Mo Salah.
