Real Madrdi announce squad for Champions League clash as Mbappe is included
Real Madrid have confirmed their squad list for the the Champions League showdown against Lille on Tuesday. Kylian Mbappe has been included in after his recent thigh injury and could feature in the game, should the staff give the green light. The French international looks to return ahead of schedule to face his younger brother Ethan Mbappe, as it was believed that he would be out for three weeks.

Kylian Mbappe suffered an injury last week in the closing moments of the La Liga game against Deportivo Alaves, which was confirmed to be a femoral bicep injury in his right leg the following day by the Real Madrid medical staff. The player was set to face three weeks on the sidelines, however, he has now been included in Real Madrid's squad list for the second game of the Champions League, released on Monday. Real Madrid will travel to France to face Lille in the Champions League on Tuesday.
'El Partidazo de COPE' indicate that although the French international has recovered fromt the thigh injury, Real Madrid do not plan on starting him in the game, but rather want him to keep training with the team in the days leading up to the Champions League fixture. Should Mbappe feel like he is ready to take part in the match, the final decision will be in Carlo Ancelotti's hands.
The Italian head coach reportedly took into consideration that the trip to France would allow Mbappe to reunite with his younger brother Ethan. The two played together at Paris-Saint Germain, with both leaving the club this summer to join Real Madrid and Lille respectively.
During their time at PSG, they featured on the pitch together in five occasions, one of them being a friendly match, with Kylian finding the net in all of them. More specifically, he scored against Le Havre in a non-official match, a brace against Metz and a goal against Lorient, both in Ligue 1, a goal aginst Orleans in the French Cup, and to round it all up, a hat-trick against Revel.
