Real Madrid know they'll have to reinforce their attack ahead of next season, when the 'Merengues' will have Karim Benzema and Alvaro Rodriguez, who has just got going in La Liga. Getting another striker in is a must.
Therefore, according to 'AS', the Madrid board are thinking about signing Goncalo Ramos once more. The 21 year old striker is playing well at Benfica and he also had some stand-out moments with Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar.
The Portuguese side are hoping to get more than €100 million to let their goalscorer go. Madrid are willing to splash the cash in the summer window, but what's certain is that they'd prefer to spend this money on a signing like Jude Bellingham.
If the Madrid side don't manage to get the Borussia Dortmund man on board, the board are not ruling out trying to get Ramos, but not for the price his side are asking for.
What's certain is that the Spanish giants are not letting the Benfica man out of their sights, as he's got aims of playing in Spanish football and having a similar career to that of compatriots Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Figo, who both had great spells in La Liga.
Madrid aren't the only big side interested in the Portuguese star. Man United also need to strengthen their attack and would be up for trying to get him as his style of play is what boss Ten Hag is looking for.
