Real Madrid open to SELLING Vinicius Jr
The newspaper ‘Marca’ reports that, in a recent conversation, Real Madrid were surprised that Vinicius Junior compared sporting and financial aspects when considering the future of his career.

Real Madrid have been outlining a clear policy for several transfer windows: either their terms are accepted or there is no deal. This is not strange to Vinicius Junior, who features in a report by JosE Félix Díaz in ‘Marca’ this weekend. The text discusses his sale after an internal chat in which he weighed up the economic and sporting aspects when considering his medium and long-term future.
The newspaper suggests that, if his priority, at some point, passes to the financial aspect, the Madrid board will have no objection to negotiate his transfer. It mentions the interest that Al Hilal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have in him. The three destinations are all good money-wise, so the former Flamengo man's potential wish would be fulfilled and the Spanish side coffers would be rewarded.
This does not mean that a sale of Carlo Ancelotti's player is close to happening, far from it, but it does open a door that seemed completely closed until now. In fact, club and player have recently shared their indignation at not having won the 2024 Ballon d'Or, and the 'Merengues' expedition did not travel to the gala because they disagreed that the award should go to Manchester City's Rodri Hernandez.
In this regard, ‘Marca’ claims that Real Madrid have lost faith in the award and that they have no relationship with UEFA beyond the obligatory communications to organise matches and other formalities. Vinicius, who thought he was going to be decorated for his outstanding performance last season, has a contract until 30th June 2027 and has already promised in public that he will try to be recognised with the prize in 2025.
