After a glorious comeback against Manchester City in the Champions League midweek, Real Madrid pay a visit to the Sadar on Saturday to take on Osasuna in matchday 24 of La Liga, hoping to get a win that will keep them at the top of the standings.
'Los Blancos' are one point ahead of local rivals Atletico and three of Catalan giants Barcelona. However, their task to maintain top spot has been made difficult due to the absences of five players, with Carlo Ancelotti counting the absences of long-term absentees Carvajal and Militao, alongside Alaba, Rudiger and Vazquez.
Though unavailable in Madrid's 21-man shortlist for Osasuna, the Italian manager reassured that the defensive trio will work individually to get back to fitness in time for next Wednesday when Guardiola's men visit the Bernabeu for the return leg of the play-off round.
In the meantime, Sergio Mestre, Raul Asencio, Jacobo Ramon and Lorenzo Aguado remain at the services of the Spanish capital side to fill in the backline. Ancelotti also confirmed earlier today that Valverde will play at right-back to replace Vazquez and warned that no player is guaranteed to start for Saturday's clash.
Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin, Mestre.
Defenders: Vallejo, Garcia, Mendy, Jcobo Ramon, Asencio, Aguado.
Midfielders: Bellingham, Camavinga, Valverde, Modric, Tchouameni, Guler, Ceballos.
Forwards: Vinicius, Mbappe, Rodrygo, Endrick, Brahim.
