Real Madrid continue their celebrations of their 36th La Liga title which will take place throughout the day. The players, after Florentino Perez gave a speech in which he spoke about the great campaign that the squad has done, also wanted to address the fans, without losing sight of the Champions League final on 1 June at Wembley.
"Congratulations to you too for the support you give us. We are very happy to share this trophy with you. We have to enjoy it to the maximum, but with the spirit for the final. May it be a great day for all the 'Madridismo", Nacho began with the microphone.
"Good morning, Hala Madrid. Thanks to you, to the effort of the squad. We are here celebrating for everyone. I like to sing and we are going to sing together the most beautiful song in the world," said a euphoric Ancelotti, who was encouraged to sing the anthem of 'La Decima'.
Then it was Joselu's turn: "I wanted to thank you for all the support you have given this year. We've had a lot of complications, but we've got through this league. I wanted to thank you for the support you have given me at the Bernabeu (he gets emotional). We want to have a fantastic day and that you are ready for what is coming on 1 at June".
Luka Modric, who is likely to retire at the end of the season, also wanted to say a few words. "Good morning, madridistas. Well... first of all, thank you very much for being here. For the support throughout the year, it's been incredible (the crowd chants 'Modric, stay' and the squad join them). Well, thank you very much. I love you, let's celebrate well today". The Croatian got emotional.
Then it was the turn of the 'Merengues' star duo, who set their sights on the Wembley final. "It's a pleasure to play with all my teammates. Hopefully we can celebrate from today until the 2nd of June (the final is on the 1st)," said Vinicius. "Thank you very much for the support and love. One more, great game at Wembley. We are going to win, hala Madrid," added Jude Bellingham.
"My team-mates have pretty much said it all. I don't like to sing a lot, but I'm sure that in three weeks' time we'll see each other here again," said Kroos, who received a "Toni, stay" from the crowd.
Finally, Rudiger was the last to speak, as the squad headed back to the bus that will take them to City Hall. "Thank you all very much for being here. The madman is here. Let's go for the 15th," he shouted as he shook his head.
