Real Madrid landed on Thursday afternoon in London, where they will face Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final on Saturday. The expectation to welcome Real Madrid to their base hotel was at its highest.

Real Madrid landed at Luton Airport on the outskirts of London on Thursday, two days ahead of their Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund.
The plane carrying the Real Madrid squad was just under an hour late arriving at the London airport before the squad arrived at The Grove hotel in the Watford area, 20 kilometres from Wembley, the venue for the final.
The 'Merengues' completed their final training session at their training complex on Thursday morning before departing for London. Ukrainian Andriy Lunin was not part of the travelling squad due to the risk of infecting his teammates after recovering from influenza B.
Real Madrid will be based at The Grove, a luxurious five-star hotel away from central London, with a spa and an official golf course. Prices range from 587 euros to 2,200 euros per room.
Real Madrid's London HQ is 24 kilometres from Wembley, where Carlo Ancelotti and one of the captains will appear before the media at 4.30pm CEST on Friday and complete their final training session from 5.15-6.15pm.
Meanwhile, Borussia will fly out of Dortmund airport on Friday and plan to land in London at around midday.
