Carlo Ancelotti tried out an attacking trio of Brahim Diaz and Brazilians Rodrygo Goes and Endrick on Friday in the final training session in Chicago ahead of Saturday's 'El Clasico' in New Jersey against Barcelona, their second friendly of the US tour.
The Italian coach led a session at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), in which Turkey's Arda Guler, one of the most in-form players at the moment, was deployed in midfield alongside Dani Ceballos and Luka Modric. Rodrygo returned to Madrid's training camp on 31st August.
Ancelotti also included Brazil's Militao, who returned from holiday on Thursday, alongside Germany's Antonio Rudiger. Vinicius, who has also been with the team for less than 24 hours, will be on the bench in 'El Clasico' at MetLife Stadium.
The starting XI should also include Fran Garcia and Lucas Vazquez on either flank, with Belgium's Courtois in goal. Madrid worked in the morning, before travelling to New York in the afternoon. The club opened their pre-season with a 1-0 defeat against Milan at Soldier Field in Chicago.
