Real Sociedad mourn fan who died at Madrid clash
Real Sociedad announced on Sunday the death of a fan who fell down the stairs of the Reale Arena on Saturday while on his way to watch the La Liga match against Real Madrid.

Police in San Sebastian are investigating the circumstances of the death of a man who fell while entering the Reale Arena stadium on Saturday, where the La Liga match between Real Sociedad and Real Madrid was being played.
According to the Basque Department of Security, the emergency services received a report at around 20.50 CEST that a person had fallen in the vicinity of gate 5 of the Spanish stadium.
The man, who suffered a blow to the head as a result of the fall, was treated by medical staff at the scene before being taken to Donostia Hospital, where he died.
Real Sociedad published a message on social media on Sunday in which they "deeply regret the loss" of this club member who, according to the club, "died yesterday accidentally as he was preparing" to enter the Reale Arena.
As a gesture of condolence, the club also announced that the first team will play with black armbands on Tuesday in Mallorca and a minute's silence will be observed in the match against Valencia on the 28th.
