Kylian Mbappe appears to be very close to joining Real Madrid next season. But unlike 'Marca', 'Relevo' is more cautious and claims that nothing has been signed yet. From this media they point out that between the French superstar and the Merengues' there is only a verbal agreement.
'Relevo' explains that the Madrid board in their leaks maintain that there is nothing signed. Although 'Los Blancos' have celebrated the fact that the world champion striker has told PSG that he is leaving at the end of the season.
According to this media outlet, several details have yet to be finalised before the transfer can be completed. Firstly with the Parisian side, as the amounts that Mbappe is going to forgive his current club still need to be finalised. The Frenchman told Al-Khelaifi that he would waive part of his renewal bonus.
On the Madrid side, the salary and signing bonus figures are clear and are not an issue. But as for the image rights, Fayza Lamari wants to pocket them and Madrid wants to keep a high percentage of them in order to make the signing profitable. On the other hand, there is the issue of the Olympic Games. Mbappe wants to take part in them, as they are held in his hometown, and this would mean a later start to pre-season.
With a verbal agreement or signature, Mbappe's arrival at Real Madrid seems a matter of time. However, nothing will be announced until the end of the season when there are no competitions left to play for.
