The Europa League playoffs officially concluded last night, meaning only the draw is left to decide the round of 16 clashes. Viktoria Plzen, Bodo/Glimt, Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, Roma, Fenerbahce, FCSB and Real Sociedad are the eight teams to have qualified for the knockouts.

The first edition of the Europa League playoffs officially concluded last night, giving us a clearer idea of what will be coming up for us in the round of 16 ahead of the draw. Viktoria Plzen, Bodo/Glimt, Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, Roma, Fenerbahce, FCSB and Real Sociedad are the remaining eight teams to have qualified for the knockout stage after winning their respective play-off ties.
None of the Premier League sides involved in the tournament - Manchester United and Tottenham - had to play an extra play-off match as they both earned direct tickets into the last 16 after finishing off the league phase into the top eight places. The two English clubs will take on one of AZ Alkmaar, who knocked out Galatasaray in the playoffs, or Real Sociedad, who accessed the round of 16 by eliminating Midtjylland.

Galatasaray v AZ Alkmaar 2-2 (3-6 on aggregate) - will face one of Man United or Spurs
FCSB v PAOK 2-2 (4-1 on aggregate) - will face one of Lyon or Frankfurt
Bodo/Glimt v Twente 5-2 (6-4 on aggregate) - will face one of Olympiacos or Rangers
Viktoria Plzen v Ferencvaros 3-0 (3-1 on aggregate) - will face one of Athletic Bilbao or Lazio
Real Sociedad v Midtjylland 5-2 (7-3 on aggregate) - will face one of Man United or Spurs
Ajax v Union Saint-Gilloise 1-2 (3-2 on aggregate) - will face one of Lyon or Frankfurt
Anderlecht v Fenerbahce 2-2 (2-5 on aggregate) - will face one of Olympiacos or Ranger
