Ronaldo sent message of support to Morocco on social media

Al-Nassr striker Cristiano Ronaldo sent a message of support to those affected by the earthquake in Morocco on Instagram. "Sending love and prayers to all him in Morocco at this very difficult time," he wrote.

The 6.8 magnitude quake struck late on Friday 72 kilometres (45 miles) southwest of Moroccan city Marrakech. A Moroccan interior ministry statement said on Saturday that 1,305 people had been confirmed dead and 1,832 injured, of whom 1,220 were in a critical condition.
Several football stars such as Achraf Hakimi, Kylian Mbappe and Luka Modric, among others, have supported the Moroccan people on social media, urging fans to help those affected by the earthquake as much as possible.
Cristiano Ronaldo also did his bit. The Al-Nassr striker sent a message of support to Morocco on social media and sent "his deepest condolences".
"My deepest condolences to the families and friends of all those who have lost their lives in the earthquake in Morocco. Sending love and prayers to all him in Morocco at this very difficult time," he wrote. Moreover, the Portuguese star has offered shelter to the victims in his hotel built in Marrakech.
