Cristiano Ronaldo is the main attraction of the match between Benfica and Al Nassr, along with his former teammate Angel di Maria. The Portuguese will face his former great rival at Sporting CP.
Coming out of the youth academy of the Lisbon team, Benfica have always been the derby team of the Portuguese capital. A special match for all the players who played for Sporting CP.
Cristiano Ronaldo will face Benfica more than 16 years after the last time he faced them. It was on December 6th, 2006, when he was already playing for Manchester United and a year before winning his first Champions League.
Since that match, the Portuguese striker has won one UCL title with the Red Devils and another four with Real Madrid, 3 of them in a row, before leaving for Juventus. A total of 5 Champions League titles.
What Cristiano Ronaldo will try to do against Benfica will be to score his first goal against the Lisbonians, because in the 5 games he has played, 4 of them in the Champions League, he has not found the net.
