"Ronaldo will forever be in my heart, he's a speical player and person"

One of football's most charismatic relationships broke down after the Qatar World Cup - between Cristiano Ronaldo and Jorge Mendes. Once the Portuguese forward signed for Al Nassr, his agent broke his contract.
After several months of silence, the agent spoke to 'A Bola' after receiving a sports journalism award in Portugal. Despite not being together, he was full of praise for the Portuguese man.
"Cristiano is where he is and that's life. We should all be super grateful to Cristiano for all that he's done for football and Portugal. Cristiano will always be in my heart", he said.
He then went on to add: "He's a special player and person for me. All us Portuguese should be proud to have had and still have a player like him".
