According to 'Mirror', Cristiano Ronaldo's team is going to spend a long time without signings. FIFA has reportedly sanctioned the Saudi side with 3 windows without being able to register players due to a dispute with Leicester.
An official ruling by football's governing body shows that Al Nassr owe Leicester 460,000 euros plus interest on the transfer of Ahmed Musa. The club should have paid the Foxes just over 15 million euros, but they failed to pay almost half a million, for which they would have been sanctioned in the end.
This ruling in question was already published in 2021 and FIFA warned Al Nassr at the time that they would be severely punished if they did not pay Leicester their remaining share. Failure to do so, explains the Mirror, will result in a ban from the club being unable to sign.
Al Nassr has explained that this debt is from before the new owners, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), took over the team and that they plan to pay it off immediately.
