It was a lively start to the affair for both sides. Visitors Al Khaleej were the first one to get their names on the scoresheet, however after just four minutes. Fabio Martins finished off a great move which stemmed from the defence.
He was eventually fed through into the hosts' box, before calmly slotting home into the bottom corner. This didn't seem to affect Al Nassr's morale, though, with Alvaro Gonzalez poking home a header off a free-kick.
Despite dominating the possession and chances stats, Ronaldo's side were unable to find a winner. The Portuguese man had the full ninety minutes to make his impact felt, but the side who started the day in the relegation zone did well to stop him up top.
This result means that Ronaldo's side are now two points off the pace at the summit of the Saudi top flight, behind title rivals Al Ittihad. As for Al Khaleej, this draw serves them better, giving them a two point buffer on the relegation zone.
