Manchester City completed their final training session on Tuesday before travelling to Madrid to face Real Madrid. Ruben Dias, Jack Grealish and Nathan Ake, who were all unavailable for the Premier League match against Newcastle, returned to action during this session.
Dias had been struggling with some discomfort and was only fit for 15-20 minutes against Newcastle, so Guardiola opted to leave him out. Ake, on the other hand, was sidelined due to illness, also missing out on the squad. The trio joined Grealish, who was also absent from the Newcastle match after picking up a knock in the previous encounter with Real Madrid.
Additionally, Erling Haaland, who had caused some concern with a knee issue against Newcastle, was also present at the training session. The Manchester City squad will depart for Madrid later today, where they will hold their pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday's Champions League round-of-16 second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.
