Athletic Club player Inaki Williams admitted that the defeat against FC Barcelona in the Super Cup semi-final "is a shame", but reminded that "the season doesn't end here and there are very nice things ahead" for the Basque team.
"It's a shame because we have made a great effort and also for all the people who have travelled from Bilbao, but there are very good things ahead and we have to continue," the striker explained to the 'Movistar+' microphones after the match.
Later, in the mixed zone, Inaki spoke about the precautionary measure granted to Barcelona to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor: "Yes, it is something unusual that has rarely been seen in Spanish football. We are all surprised that one time they say no and other times they say yes", commented Williams, questioned about this issue by the media after the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Barca.
"We have to be fair to all the clubs. At the end of the day, those who decide that now is the right time will have their reasons. We are sticking to our guns," said Inaki.
