Sabitzer still digesting Champions League final defeat

Marcel Sabitzer is still broken up about losing the Champions League final to Real Madrid. The Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund player, who is in training camp in Austria for Euro 2024, did not hide his feelings in the press room.

"I really wanted to win the match and lift that trophy. So it was very difficult for me and I thought about it a lot in the nights after. I thought a lot, I had flashbacks and you're not on a mental level where you can have a positive impact," he added.
Marcel Sabitzer nodded that he is not mentally well enough to face Switzerland in a friendly: "I'm doing the best I can and now I'm in the process of accepting that. You don't have to worry about me for the European Championship. For the friendly against Switzerland we talked about what made sense and we decided I won't play."
