Bukayo Saka and Curtis Jones will not be available for the Nations League game against Finland on Sunday as England confirm both players have withdrawn. The announcement arrived via an official statement released by the national team on Saturday.
"Curtis Jones and Bukayo Saka will not travel to Finland. Saka has returned to Arsenal for further assessment having been substituted during the second-half of Thursday night’s match against Greece," England confirm. Liverpool’s Jones remains in England owing to a personal commitment. A squad of 22 will now fly to Helsinki on Saturday afternoon ahead of tomorrow’s UEFA Nations League fixture."
The Arsenal forward was forced off the pitch at the 53' and was replaced by Noni Madueke due to physical discomfort. The 22-year-old is currently in North London awaiting medical assessment from the Arsenal medical team to reveal a definitive diagnosis that will determine the extent of his injury.
On the other hand, Liverpool's Curtis Jones, while not injured, will sit out the Helinski game due to personal circumstances that impede his chances of traveling with the squad for the final game of this October international break.
