Salah branded 'selfish' for his response to his Liverpool future
On Monday, former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher branded Mohamed Salah "selfish" for the answer the Egyptian star gave to reporters when asked about his future at Anfield.

Mohamed Salah said on Sunday he is disappointed by Liverpool's failure to offer him a new contract and believes he is "more out than in" as he nears the end of his existing deal.
"We are almost in December and I haven't received any offers yet to stay in the club," he said. "I'm probably more out than in. You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end, it is not in my hands," he told reporters.
However, his comments have not gone down well with all the club's fans and former players, with Jamie Carragher branding the Egyptian star as "selfish" for his statements.
"Right now, there's a big difference in valuation, how Salah and his agent value themselves, in terms of length of contract, and how Liverpool do. So the reason Liverpool wouldn't have offered a contract yet is because Mo Salah will turn it down," Carragher told Sky Sports.
"They're still in talks, I'm desperate for them to meet in the middle. But I must say, I am very disappointed with Mo Salah. That interview last night...If he continues to put comments out or his agent continues to put cryptic tweets out, that is selfish. That's thinking about themselves and not the football club," he claimed.
Salah is one of the three key Liverpool players who will soon be heading into the last six months of their deals, with Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold also out of contract at the end of the season. All three will be free to speak to overseas clubs in January if they do not sign an extension before then.
