Liverpool are hosting West Ham at Anfield for a Premier League matchday six fixture. The Reds have not lost any of their last five games in domestic competition and are looking to continue their good run.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring in the 16th minute from the penalty spot as Nayef Aguerd conceded a penalty. The Egyptian striker has now scored or assisted in his last 12 appearances in the domestic competition.
Nevertheless, Jarrod Bowen headed home in the 42nd minute to restart the game at Anfield after Vladimir Coufal's pass from inside the box. Curtis Jones tried to give the Reds the lead in the 45th minute but his goal was disallowed for offside.
If the match ends like this, Liverpool would be in third place on 14 points while West Ham would take sixth place on 11 points.
