Salah's agent denies Saudi move rumours

Reports surfaced on Monday that Mohamed Salah was in talks with Saudi Pro-League side Al-Ittihad over a move claimed to be worth £60 million.
The initial story came from Saudi-based outlet 'Al-Riyadiah', who wrote that they had been told by a source close to the player that "there are negotiations between Mohamed Salah and Saudi club Al-Ittihad" but they could not provide more details than that. The same outlet reported that the club were willing to offer the player €180 million over two seasons.
The story was picked up by several outlets in England, as earlier this summer the Reds lost midfielder Fabinho to the same Saudi club, as well as skipper Jordan Henderson who left for Pro-League side Al-Ettifaq.
The rumours very clearly gaining enough traction that the Egyptian's agent felt the need to stamp them out, with Ramy Abbas taking to Twitter to declare that Liverpool's all-time top goalscorer remains "committed" to the club.
"If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer", he wrote. "Mohamed remains committed to LFC."
The Egyptian international did indeed renew his contract last summer, signing for the Merseyside club until 2025, with his new deal believed to be worth £350,000-a-week, making him the highest paid player in the club's history.
