Saudi minister on Messi and Benzema: "Wait for the official announcements"

It seems that there is no confirmation on the futures of two of the greatest modern footballers: Leo Messi and Karim Benzema. Benzema, in a press conference on Thursday, seemed to indicate he would stay at Madrid, but the statement was by no means concrete. Saudi Arabia are keeping themselves close to the action, but it seems for now they have made no advancements.
Abdelaziz Al-Faysal, the Saudi minister of sport, spoke to the press in the midst of the media hype surrounding these two cases. The politician answered the press' question about the possible arrivals of the two footballers with a smile.
"Just wait for the official club announcements. The teams will anounce them at the right time", he stated without giving any further clue as to the future of the two players.
Al-Faysal also stressed that the operations have not been delayed "at all" despite the fact that "the league has just ended". The two clubs that have been linked with the players are Al Hilal seeking Messi, and Al Ittihad following Benzema.
