Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus said "scoring goals is not his strongest suit" after Brazil's 1-0 loss to Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers on Wednesday.

Arsenal forward Gabriel Jesus has surprisingly acknowledged that scoring goals is not among his main strengths. Following a recent hamstring injury, Jesus returned to the starting lineup for Brazil's World Cup qualifier against Argentina on Tuesday night. However, he couldn't find the back of the net as his team suffered a 1-0 defeat, with Nicolas Otamendi scoring the decisive header.
Speaking post-game, the Brazilian striker defended his goal-scoring record and urged fans to be more patient, although he openly admitted that scoring doesn't come naturally to him.
"Scoring goals is inevitable but it is not my strongest suit. I play to score a goal, that's why I'm in the national team. Scoring goals again will happen naturally," he told reporters.
While displaying his prowess in the Champions League this season, scoring three goals in as many games for the Gunners and bringing them close to the knockout stages with two group matches remaining, the 26-year-old has encountered challenges in replicating that success in the Premier League, managing to score only once in seven appearances.
