Sergi Roberto to part ways with Barcelona, Premier League on the horizon

Barely 19 days have passed since the transfer window opened but, with five weeks to go until it closes, there is a sense of urgency in the teams... and in the players themselves, especially those who do not have a club for next season.
This is the case of Sergi Roberto, who finished his contract with Barcelona on 30th June. The Catalan giants are counting on him, but have asked for his patience in order to settle the Financial Fair Play and offer him a new contract.
However, as explained by ‘Sport’, the Spanish player is tired of waiting and wants to resolve his future now, so he could say goodbye to Barcelona, the only club he has played for.
The same source also claims that Sergi Roberto, who is capable of playing as a midfielder and right-back, has an offer from a Premier League side, so England could be his destination.
The player's tug-of-war with Barcelona in recent months has taken its toll. As of today, his future is further away from Barcelona than ever.
