Sergi Roberto's renewal depends on Almeria game

Sergi Roberto's contract with Barcelona expires in June but that will change in the next few days. The midfielder has reached an agreement with the board to renew it.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the renewal could become official on 28th February but only if Barcelona win against Almeria in La Liga on Sunday.
Sergi Roberto will sign his new contract if Barcelona win. Otherwise, the renewal will have to wait until the Catalan club face Madrid in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals.
The Spanish midfielder will continue to play at Camp Nou until 2024 but his new contract will have an option to extend it if he plays 45 minutes in 60% of matches.
