Sevilla visit the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium to face Real Madrid in the La Liga matchday 26 fixture on Sunday. Sergio Ramos, who played 16 seasons for the Madrid outfit, will return to his former club.
Ramos left the Andalusian side at the age of 19 to join Madrid for a then record fee for a Spanish defender. But he rejoined the reigning Europa League winners as a free agent to close his professional football career.
"I have a lot of respect for all the fans and all of Madrid. I wouldn't celebrate but if I happen to score and it was enough for us to win I would be delighted, those three points would be very good for us," Ramos said.
Moreover, the 37-year-old said he will feel at home when he is at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium: "In the end I spent many years there in the most important moments of my career. And I have wonderful memories of the people, the fans, everyone, my teammates. I think it will also be a unique moment for me, a very emotional moment," he concluded.
