Sergio Rico sends message of thanks out to fans
PSG goalkeeper Sergio Rico posted a short message on his social media on Sunday, responding to and thanking fans for their kind words of support after the accident that left him in intensive care for several weeks at the end of May.

Sergio Rico is finally on the road to recovery, after the serious accident he suffered at the end of May in Spain. The Spaniard spent weeks in intensive care in a hospital in Seville, but his health is finally improving.
The PSG goalkeeper was able to post a message on social media, to his fans and supporters: "I wanted to thank each and every one of the people who have shown and sent me their love during these complicated days", he wrote.
Sergio Rico hopes to return "soon" to normal life and join the new project led by Luis Enrique: "I'm still working on my recovery, which is improving each day. I feel very lucky. Once again, thanks to everyone and I hope to be able to see you all soon".
The 29-year-old, who came up through the Sevilla academy is "improving by leaps and bounds", as his wife, Alba Silva, explained speaking to 'Europa Press': "Sergio has put a lot of drive and strength into it. As I've always said, he's a champion".
