Sesko gives green light to Arsenal's £45m bid

RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Sesko, who has scored 18 goals and provided two assists in his first season in the Bundesliga, was being targeted by several clubs due to his great talent.
Arsenal have been the main contenders in the race to secure his services and seem to have reached a pre-agreement to bring the Slovenian to the Emirates Stadium in the summer.
Spanish manager Mikel Arteta believes Sesko could exploit his potential in the Premier League. As a result, the Gunners have offered 45 million pounds for his transfer, which has been accepted by the 20-year-old.
Bundesliga club RB Leipzig were unwilling to let their gem leave but the player had the final say on his future. His contract with the German side was due to expire in 2028 but it looks like Sesko will say goodbye to the Red Bull Arena sooner than expected.
