Quique Setien is said to be eyeing a return to management in the Premier League, following a series of visits to top-flight clubs. The Spanish coach, who has had spells at clubs like Barcelona and Real Betis, has recently met with the managers of Chelsea, West Ham United, and Brentford, fuelling speculation about a potential move to England.
The former Barcelona boss is reportedly interested in taking on a challenge in the Premier League, where his tactical acumen and experience could be a valuable asset for any club looking for a change of direction.
Though no formal offers have been made, the coach's visits are seen as part of a strategy to familiarise himself with the clubs' setups and assess potential opportunities.
"Obviously. I have been out for a year and in Spain I didn’t have the feeling. We follow all of the Premier League. In Spain you watch one or two teams on TV, in England, we watch all of them," Setien told reporters when asked about his interest in English football.
"We came here last year for seven days but this week has been a huge surprise. I fell in love with people, the passion. The supporters are doing their best and the game wasn’t exciting," he added.
