The war between father and son at Sevilla continues to rage. Former club president Jose Maria del Nido Benavente said the La Liga club are "bankrupt, in ruins".
"Seeing the deterioration of the company in recent years, how they have been able to destroy a winning project that had cost so much work, how the accounts have been ruined," he said. "I have been saying this for four years. We are adrift, we are bankrupt, we are ruined. And they were boasting about being one of the most solvent clubs in Spain," said Del Nido Benavente.
"The ship is adrift. Even if he was thinking only of his wealth, the shares that were worth one price four years ago are worth 33% less today. What was missing was that the majority of shareholders and fans were against the current management. You can already see it, and not just on social networks," explained the former Sevilla president.
