Sevilla want Clement Lenglet back on loan

Who will end up snapping up Barcelona centre-back Clement Lenglet? Having just returned from a season in the Premier League with Tottenham, the Frenchman is looking for a new club, but no deal has been struck so far, and the transfer window closes on September 1st.
One thing is certain: he does not fit into Xavi's plans for this season, as the Catalan coach already has five central defenders. With Jules Kounde, Araujo, Eric Garcia, Christensen and Inigo Martinez, Lenglet is unlikely to get any playing time.
Saudi club Al Nassr tried their luck, but the player refused before Aymeric Laporte finally signed for Cristiano Ronaldo's team. Sevilla would be the next team to move for the French centre-back, reports 'Marca'.
The Andalusian club, where Lenglet played in the 2017/18 season, would like to land the 28-year-old on loan. Although Barcelona would like to sell him permanently, this may be the only viable solution for the Catalan club.
