Belgian midfielder Sambi Lokonga was absent from Sevilla's final training session of the week on Friday due to a new muscle injury in his left thigh, where he already had a problem in pre-season.
Sevilla said in a statement that Sambi Lokonga did not train with his teammates due to "a left thigh injury", without giving an estimated recovery time, while Swiss midfielder Djibril Sow did not work with the group either.
The Catalan coach led the last session of the week at the Andalusian outfit's training complex and has given his squad a rest this weekend due to the La Liga break for international team matches.
Sevilla will return to training on Monday to continue their preparations for the La Liga clash against Getafe at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.
