Southampton boss Russell Martin issues injuries update

With the end of the international break, players prepare to get back to club action over the weekend. Southampton kick off the second-last game of matchday 12 of the Premier League as they host Liverpool on Sunday.
Ahead of the St Mary's clash, Russell Martin has issued a fitness update on Southampton duo Aaron Ramsdale and Jan Bednarek, who have both picked injuries and will sit out the upcoming game.
The Polish defender was forced off at half time in the game against Poland last week, suffering knee ligament damage. Meanwhile, the goalkeeper broke his finger in the 2-0 defeat at Wolves and pulled out of England's squad for Nations League during the break.
Martin said the pair will be ruled out for "a number of weeks". Ramsdale will aim to recover before Christmas, while Bednarek is expected to return earlier and could be available from early December.
