Nacho Fernandez and Ayoze Perez were absent from the group in the last session of the Spanish National Team at their base camp in Donaueschingen and confirmed their absence against Albania in the third match of the European Championship in Germany, which Rodri Hernandez will not play either due to suspension.
Nacho did not return to the squad, who continued with his personalised recovery plan with the aim of being fit for the Round of 16, which Spain will play in a week's time on 30th June.
The Madrid centre-back did his pre-training warm-up with his team-mates in the training facilities next to the pitch, and when they came on the pitch, he worked out with a recovery trainer. He carried out continuous running before receiving physiotherapy treatment to finish recovering from the muscular discomfort that prevented him from playing against Italy and which has ruled him out of the match against Albania.
Ayoze, who was already ruled out, was again absent from the group due to the muscle strain he suffered in the minutes played against Italy. His condition will be assessed on a day-to-day basis and his full recovery for the last 16 is not confirmed.
