Harry Kane is in the same situation as Kylian Mbappe. Both want to leave their current team, they have a contract until next season and their clubs have given them one last chance. Either they renew their contracts or they are sold this summer.
According to 'The Times', Tottenham Hotspur have told the striker he could extend his contract and earn 462,000 euros a week or be transferred in the summer transfer window.
Nonetheless, the Spurs board will only accept an offer of more than 100 million euros for his services. Neither Bayern Munich nor Manchester United are willing to pay that amount for the Englishman.
Moreover, the Red Devils need to reduce their wage bill. As a result, even if Tottenham were to give the green light for his transfer, Erik ten Hag's side would not be able to afford Harry Kane's wages.
If England's top goalscorer prioritises his high salary, his best option is to stay at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The 29-year-old scored 32 goals and provided five assists in 49 appearances last campaign. His future is still uncertain but we will have to wait for Kane to make a decision.
