Spurs' top scorer, Kane snubbed again for Golden Boot
Harry Kane became Tottenham Hotspurs all time leading goal scorer recently, but despite scoring 30 league goals in two different seasons, he is yet to win a Golden Boot for his efforts.

It appears Tottenham Hotspurs' winning ways (or lack thereof) appear to be in Harry Kane's DNA. This season, the England international became the club's top goal scorer, in his 12th season for the club, having put away 280 goals for the side in that time.
He beat Jimmy Greaves' record of 266 goals to do so. His message for the fans thanked them for their "relentless support all year" and stated that he was filled with "incredible pride".
However, despite putting away 30 league goals for his club this season, the second season he has done so, Kane is yet to take home a Golden Boot, the prize awarded to the league's top scorer.
In the 2017/18 season he was beaten to the prize by Liverpool's Mohammed Salah, who bagged 32 goals, and this season he was pipped to the post by Erling Haaland's record breaking 36. Despite being the only player to reach the 30-goal mark in two different 38-game seasons, Kane walks home empty handed.
The 29-year-old, although under contract until next summer, has been linked to moves to various clubs in Europe, like Real Madrid, that have managed to bring home more silverware than Spurs, who this season will miss out on all European football for the first time since 2009/10, after finishing 8th.
